Under Wraps Music is looking for UK based world musicians to be a part of new exciting music project and documentary.

The project is running in conjunction with CIDA as part of the I-Move collection of projects and events to celebrate the 2012 Olympics. The project will showcase and celebrate world music groups and world music artists currently living across the UK, and explore the story behind their journey and musical heritage.

 The project will be made up of 3 elements.

1. A documentary featuring interviews with musicians about their musical journey/heritage and live performances.
2. 3 pieces of music incorporating sounds and samples from recorded sessions with artists involved
3. A music event to launch the documentary and tracks featuring performances from the musicians involved with the project.

The project aims to work with world musicians who may be UK citizens or may be asylum seekers or refugees living and playing in the UK. Alongside artists who are maybe 2^nd generation musicians from other countries or have a specific interest in world music through contact or inspiration from world artists.

The project will give those involved an opportunity to share their story and music, meet other world musicians and gain exposure through the promotion of the project itself alongside the documentary.
