Improving well-being for mind and body through music making

Sound Circles makes playing music accessible to all as these sessions can be attended with no previous experience necessary. Encouraging those with an interest in playing an instrument, singing or creating digital music to experiment and develop skills in a supportive, community environment… there are no wrong notes! The workshops will demonstrate the basics of each discipline allowing instant access to creating sounds and musical textures as an ensemble. Unlock a new interest and allow the power of music creation and escapism to enrich your life.

Sessions take place at The Watershed - a creation space and community arts venue in the centre of Slaithwaite Village centre. This project is supported by funding from Kirklees Year Of Music 2023, Creative Minds, Locala and Watershed Workshops.
